Gunes Gocmen is a character animator who has been working in the industry since 2010, bringing with him years of valuable experience. Since 2017, he has focused primarily on creature films, with a strong creative passion for feature film work. His experience also includes short films and commercials.
He is currently working as a character animator at Framestore in London, and has contributed to major productions from studios such as Disney and Warner Brothers, among others.
Outside of animation, Gunes pursues a wide range of personal interests. He is a passionate vintage watch collector, curating a selection of rare and exceptional timepieces. He also enjoys restoring and maintaining these mechanical watches himself—a meticulous process that reflects his appreciation for craftsmanship and detail. Alongside horology, he maintains a growing collection of natural crystal stones, which he studies and carefully selects for their beauty and uniqueness.
In a completely different field, Gunes has recently founded a limited company, where he is actively working on its growth and development with the same dedication he brings to his creative work.
To stay active, he plays tennis every week, and in his free time, he enjoys exploring new places by car, often setting out on spontaneous road trips. You might also find him cycling along scenic routes he’s mapped in various cities, always with a camera in hand to capture the journey.
